Will I have black hair when I am older?

My hair color is Brown and my mom has brown hair but my dad has black hair and when my dad was younger he had light brown hair so does that mean I will have black hair?

You really won't know until your older, but there is a chance that your hair will darken, also a chance of it lightening up. The body produces hormones that cause changes in your hair and it color-which explains why older folks hair is grey and white. I wouldn't worry about it, since there's always hair stylists out there that can help you lighten, darken, or whatever your hair later on.

Who knows? How dark is your hair now? You'll find out eventually.

Not necessarily... its all in your own genetics. Wait, grow old, and you will see. No one on yahoo can tell you that.
