Can I dye my black hair different shade of black?

I have jet black hair, and really like the look of black-dyed hair. Like when someone with brown/blonde hair dyes it that midnight black color, it look so much deeper than jet shiny black. Would this be easy/ok to do myself? or do I need to go to a professional for the results I want?

Sure there are several shades of black, you can use a semi permanent color so if you don't like it, you won't be stuck with it as long. It's easy just go to your beauty supply store and make sure you get gloves. Good luck

If you know how to do it..you should do it yourself..it will be a lot cheaper than getting it proffesionaly done

You can do it yourself. I think what you might be looking for is that blue black look. It gives you that deep, shiny black. Have fun!

You can do it yourself easily. You don't need a salon, they will only charge you an arm and a leg. The time to go to a professional is when lightening dark hair or getting high lights.

Just buy the deep, warm black color you want and follow the directions. I've done it many times. (I have natural jet black hair too, and I've lightened it at salon and dyed it different shade of black myself)

Good luck!
