Black hair dye help!?

i tried to use the prell technique to get rid of my black hair dye.i left it in my dry hair for 30 minutes and i washed it out and it did nothing! it's a semi permanent dye but it's been stuck in my hair since august. what else can i do other than those at home stripping things and bleaching it. a lot of people are telling me things but they only work right after you dye it.

HELP!

Just keep it the way it is no more dying any colors and maybe in about one month it should return to full color.

Black hair dye help!?

Once you go black with your hair, it is extremely difficult to pull it out. Even for professionals. If you are really wanting it out I would suggest to bite the bullet and pay a pro to do it for you, otherwise let it grow. If you start on the home jobs, you will be left with a huge mess and not much better off then where you are now. It will lift unevenly, so you will be left with orange, red, and yellow all over your head. And not to mention really damage it. It is a process to get black out. Normally it does take two to three times of seeing a hairdresser to lift it out. Even with semi perm or temp, black is so strong it really doesnt matter what kind you use it will stick! You could always get a few highlights just to break up the black a bit till it can grow out too.... Sorry! Good luck!

Usually black hair dye will stay in the hair for 1 year, as time passes as you prob know it will lighted. So what I did was wash my hair with Johnson %26amp; Johnson baby shampoo several times a day. This type of shampoo strips the hair of other product build up left in the hair-- It did help, because when I came home it was WITCH black*** and it looked terrible then after a few days the change was dramatically lighter.

Don't try the at home stripping product because you'll end up looking like a calico cat...black, orange and white. Either live with the black until it grows out or have the color removed by a professional, preferrably one that specializes in hair color and hair color correction.

hi i'm a hairdresser...

black is 1 of them colours tht u really need to think about before you decide to dye ur hair that colour.

even if its a semi perm colour, if you have porous hair, the hair will grab that colour. ppl who have bleached hair - when they use a temp or semi colour on the hair it ends up lasting forever cos the hair wants to soak up all the colour.

to get the black outta the hair you need colour correction - this involves bleaching the hair and then the appropiate method used to get it back to its normal colour.

this should only b done by a professional as home kits do not contain strong enough level of peroxide to get rid of the black.
