I have black hair with brown and little blonde streaks in places?

its not natural though so i dyed it

i want it light blonde...but the thing is one time when it had black hair i tried to dye it to blonde and it went platinum blonde on my roots(because my hair is naturally blonde) and red on the black part of my hair.. someone said i could dye it again with the same color and it would come out more lighter and more "blonde." afterwards i dyed it back black....i know..stupid idea...well now i want it back blonde...do you think if i try this but follow what the person said....will it work? thanks for the answers and if you need any more info just please ask me and i will add more...%26lt;3

i had a similar problem i kept on tring to highlight or dye my hair with lemon juice or oil or stuff like that but i finaly just got it done and it looks grate ! i love it and it wil work grate on u too . but it is a lot of miney but just save up or ask ur parents hope i helped by

well if i were you I'd get it professionally done. it costs more, but it's done soo much better, and you have WAY more of a chance of it coming out the way you want it.
